A visually compelling capsule built for the space tourism market
We lead Experience Design within Space Perspective, supporting all aspects of design for the most pre-sold space tourism experience. We work collaboratively with the engineering and manufacturing team to deliver a capsule that meets the requirements of spaceflight, whilst creating a visually appealing vehicle for the growing space tourism market.

We work with the engineering team, leading the industrial design from initial sketch through to production of the Spaceship Neptune capsule. Our key responsibilities were scaling the capsule and working collaboratively to set key fundamentals including floor heights, windows sizes and component detailing with constant consideration of the user experience.

A key element of our role is to create exciting and captivating imagery that entices customers and investors alike to see the vision for this new future of space tourism.
A pivotal moment for us was the completion of the Flight 2 capsule in February 2024. Spaceship Neptune – Excelsior closely resembles the initial design intent and showcases the collaborative process developed with all of the teams at Space Perspective.

We have been collaborating with the Mercedes Maybach team to bring the ‘Maybach experience’ to key touchpoints throughout the Space Perspective experience. Mercedes-Maybach shows the space balloon in its global brand film as part of a campaign to show how the driving experience transports passengers to the beyond.

Marine Spaceport (MS) Voyager is a 294-foot-long vessel that launches and receives the spacecraft. We supported the design of this vessel by working with the team specialists on livery, paint specifications and spatial planning of the interior.

Every design detail on the capsule exterior is highly considered, from fixing locations to camera mounts and the profile of the splashcone, each component has been refined for functional and aesthetic consideration. We have executed the brand DNA through paint specifications and graphic livery.
